God has called us to be a House of Prayer, which means we’re growing together to become a People of Prayer. We want everything we do to be built in and on prayer—pursuing intimacy with God daily and walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. Because what we don’t build on prayer, we build on ourselves.

Let us pray for you.

Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to face it alone. Our Prayer Team would be honored to pray with and for you. Share your request below, and know that our team will lift you up in prayer throughout the week.

Join us in prayer.

JANUARY 2026

January 8th is our next designated time to pray alongside more than 30 other local congregations in our city, for our city! Every new year offers us a fresh start. Like a blank canvas or a clean slate—we're granted an invitation to forget the past, refocus our priorities, and to move forward with new possibilities. With the best of intentions, we make our list of resolutions only to watch them eventually fade into the distance. What if we prayed and asked the Lord for 2026 to be different? What if we asked the Holy Spirit to help us put God first in every aspect of our lives? I believe it is His desire for 2026 to be our best year yet as followers of Christ and as a congregation!

Matthew 6:33 tells us to, “SEEK FIRST the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

1.) May God Be First in My Life

Lord, I acknowledge You as first and Lord over every area of my life.

Align my desires with Your will, not my own.

Help me seek first Your Kingdom and righteousness in all I do.

Remove any rival thrones in my heart and take Your rightful place.

2.) May God Be First In My Finances…

God, everything I have belongs to You.

Teach me to honor You first with my income, generosity, and stewardship.

Free me from fear, greed, and control, and grow my trust in Your provision.

Use my resources to advance Your Kingdom and bless others.

May 2026 be the year we make huge strides in paying off our debt as a church.

3.) May God Be First In My Time…

Lord, my days are in Your hands.

Help me order my schedule around what matters most to You.

Guard me from distraction and busyness that pulls me from Your presence.

Teach me to rest, work, and worship in rhythms that honor You.

4.) May God Be First In My Marriage…

Jesus, be the center of our marriages.

Help us love one another as You have loved us—selflessly and sacrificially.

Unite our hearts around Your purposes, not personal agendas.

Protect our covenant and make our marriage a reflection of Your grace.

5.) May God Be First In My Gifts & Calling…

Lord, I offer my gifts, abilities, and passions back to You.

Use me for Your glory, not my recognition.

Help me serve faithfully, humbly, and fruitfully.

Lead me into the works You prepared in advance for me to walk in.

Open up more opportunities for me to have gospel conversations with those are who not know You as Lord and Savior.

6.) May God Be First In My Relationships…

Father, guide me in how I love and lead others.

Help me honor You in my words, attitudes, and actions.

Remove unhealthy attachments and strengthen godly relationships.

Make me a peacemaker, encourager, and witness of Your love.

FEBRUARY 2026

February 12th is our next designated time to pray alongside more than 30 other local congregations in our city, for our city! We believe God is a God of breakthrough! He is more than able to breakthrough hearts of stone, strongholds, fear, sin, discouragement, and resistance from the enemy. As we pray this month we want to ask the God of Breakthrough to bring breakthrough here at NorthEast. For the month of February lets come together in faith, humility, and perseverance as we seek the Lord for fresh movement in our lives, our church, and our city. Breakthrough does not begin with effort—it begins with dependence! So lets cry out to the Lord together.

Matthew 18:19-20 says, Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

1.) Breakthrough in Leadership & Ministry.

Ask the Lord to…

Strengthen our Pastors, staff, and ministry leaders.

Release wisdom, clarity, and spiritual authority. Remove burnout, discouragement, and resistance.

Expand our capacity to disciple, serve, lead well, and hear from God.

2.) Breakthrough in Unity & Relationships.

Ask the Lord to…

Heal wounds, offenses, and misunderstandings.

Restore broken relationships and strengthen marriages.

Remove division, comparison, and competition.

Knit our church together in love and humility.

3.) Breakthrough in Worship.

Ask the Lord to…

Release a deeper spirit of worship at NorthEast.

Fill our worship gatherings with faith, freedom, and expectation! We come knowing You are present in our gatherings and we want to encounter You!

Remove all pride, routine, timidity, passivity, or distractions that can get in the way of encountering You when we gather.

Bring an awareness to Your presence when we gather.

Awaken a holy hunger in our church for His presence above all else.

4.) Breakthrough in Prayer.

Ask the Lord to…

Make prayer our first response, not our last resort.

Break complacency and replace it with a deep desire to seek Him in prayer.

Open our eyes to see the power and priority of prayer.

Break every barrier that hinders our prayer life. Fear, unbelief, pride, complacency, etc.

Silence the voice of discouragement and restore confidence in prayer.

Let our prayers produce changed hearts, transformed lives, and lasting fruit.

6.) Breakthrough in our City.

Ask the Lord to…

Pour out His Spirit on our City.

Bring healing to families, schools, and communities.

Confront injustice, violence, and spiritual darkness.

Let revival begin in us and spread beyond our walls.

MARCH 2026

March 12th is our next designated time to pray alongside more than 30 other local congregations in our city, for our city! I have a burden for those who do not know the Jesus revealed in the pages of Scripture. Many are familiar with a version of Jesus; one shaped by culture, tradition, or comfort… but they do not truly know Him. They know His name, yet have never encountered Him. We often speak of those in our city who do not know Jesus, and that burden is real. But I am deeply convinced that just as many sit within our churches on Sundays who have never truly met Him. They gather weekly, sing songs about Him, yet their hearts remain distant and disconnected. When we sing of His glory and His worth, their eyes drift, their minds wander, and their souls remain untouched… honestly, it seems they don’t even know why they’re there. This is not a lack of information; it is a lack of revelation. They know about Jesus, but they have never been undone by Him. They haven’t seen Him as He truly is; holy, risen, reigning, and worthy of all. Until we know that Jesus, worship is a performance to attend or becomes noise, faith becomes a ritualistic routine, and the gospel loses its power. As we approach Easter this year, let's ask the Lord to awaken a desire for Him across our city, reveal Himself clearly to all who seek Him, and for many to accept Jesus as both Lord and Savior this Easter! Pastor Jason

1.) Awaken A Desire For Jesus in Lexington

Lord, we ask You to awaken spiritual hunger and holy curiosity for Jesus across our city.

We intercede for those who do not yet know Christ. Stir in them a deep dissatisfaction with life apart from You.

We ask You to break through apathy, cynicism, and unbelief, and to ignite a sincere longing to seek, know, and love Jesus.

2.) Revelation of Jesus

Heavenly Father, we ask You to expose and dismantle every distorted, incomplete, or false view of who Jesus is.

We renounce cultural, political, and comfort-shaped versions of Christ, and we ask that truth would replace imitation.

Holy Spirit, reveal Jesus clearly and powerfully as Savior and Lord.

Jesus, make Yourself known through Your true followers. May their lives reflect Your character and love.

We intercede for divine encounters across our city: we ask for dreams, visions, conversations, and moments where hearts are opened to recognize Jesus.

3.) Salvations This Easter

Lord, we cry out for mercy over Lexington and ask for a great work of salvation in our city.

We ask that those who have never truly heard the Gospel would be given a clear opportunity to encounter the truth and grace this Easter.

Soften hardened hearts, remove resistance, and tear down every wall that stands against receiving Christ.

We intercede for those attending Easter services out of obligation, tradition, or invitation. Meet them personally Lord with the power of the Gospel.

We ask not for momentary decisions, but for genuine repentance and lasting transformation; raise up true disciples Lord!

We declare that hearts across our city will be receptive to the Word of God and responsive to the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

We lift before You those we know personally who do not yet know Jesus. Draw them to salvation by Your grace this Easter. (Take time to bring people you know personally to Jesus in prayer. Cry out to the Lord for their salvation!)

APRIL 2026

April 9th is our next designated day to pray alongside more than 30 other local congregations in our city, for our city! The word that continues to resound in my heart for our church and our city is awakening. Awakening begins where we truly encounter Jesus — not in our striving, but in His presence. It is the work of God, as the love of the Father is poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, stirring us into deeper love, deeper prayer, and living faith. Throughout the story of the Church, awakening has come to those who were hungry, those who longed for more of God and refused to settle for anything less than a real, abiding relationship with Him. It brings renewal to hearts, revival to the Church, and transformation beyond what we can see. We cannot create awakening… but we can prepare for it. As we pray, we position ourselves, removing what hinders and making room for God to move. And He meets those who seek Him. So lets join together as we pray for another Great Awakening in our city, our state, and our country! Pastor Jason

Awakening and Revival Must Begin With…

1.) Personal Humility and Repentance

Ask God to examine your thoughts, motives, and hidden attitudes.

Invite Him to reveal anything you’ve ignored, justified, or minimized.

Pray for sensitivity to conviction rather than defensiveness.

Ask for a heart that grieves over sin the way God does.

Ask God to form Christlike humility in you. Pray for a posture of teachability and submission.

2.) A Heart for the Church

Pray against complacency, routine, and spiritual apathy within the bride of Christ.

Pray for cleansing from sin, hypocrisy, and hidden compromise.

Ask for integrity in both private and public life.

Pray for unity across denominations, cultures, and backgrounds.

Intercede for healing where there has been division.

3.) A Hunger for God’s Presence

Intercede for a move of God that brings lasting change.

Pray for a desire that goes beyond blessings to truly knowing Him.

Ask God to stir longing for His presence above all else.

Pray for a daily sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.

Ask God for inward transformation, not just outward activity.

4.) Repentance Across the Nation

• Ask God to restore clarity, conviction, and reverence for truth.

• Intercede for leaders, influencers, and communities. • Pray for a widespread return to God across all generations.

• Pray for a shift from self-centered living to God-centered living.

• Invite the Holy Spirit to strengthen your faith in public and private.

• Ask for wisdom to communicate it simply and effectively.

• Ask God to create moments to share your faith naturally.

• Pray for divine appointments in everyday life.

• Intercede for boldness to recognize and step into those moments.

• Pray for a heart that genuinely cares for those far from God.

6.) Faith and Expectation

• Pray with confidence that God is still active today.

• Pray for a faith that persists even when unseen.

• Ask God to act in this generation, not just in the past.

• Pray for fresh outpouring of His Spirit.

• Ask for awareness when God is moving.

• Pray with persistence, not giving up too quickly.

• Ask for confidence in approaching God boldly.

• Intercede with assurance that He hears and responds.
