This is a full or part-time position that develops and leads NorthEast Christian Church (NCC) Learning Academy preschool program to prepare children for Kindergarten in a Christ centered learning environment consistent with the values and mission of the church.  

Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Education Administration, or a related field (preferred).  
• Prior experience in a leadership role within a licensed childcare or preschool program is strongly desired.  
• Knowledge of early childhood education standards and best practices.  
• Basic Biblical knowledge.  
• Organizational, administrative, and time management skills.  
• Outgoing personality with good people skills and positive attitude.  
• Demonstrated ability to lead with patience, compassion, and a genuine love for children.  
• Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.  
• Proficient computer skills and MS Office products. 

Responsibilities  
• Provide spiritual and academic leadership to create a Christian environment that supports student growth and Kindergarten readiness.  
• Oversee daily operations of the preschool, ensuring compliance with state licensing regulations and program standards.  
• Manage program finances to ensure long-term stability and growth.  
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including conducting monthly meetings and annual performance evaluations.  
• Support teachers in maintaining effective classroom structure and continuing professional development.  
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents, staff, and community stakeholders.  
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to state and NCC requirements.  
• Attend NCC staff meetings and Elders meetings as required.
